Strenghtening the capacity for action of Human, economic social and cultural rights defenders

The CPI Committee coordinates this project carried out in consortium with Collectif Guatemala, PBI France and Nonviolent Peaceforce.

This 2 year co-funded project entitled "Strenghtening the protection and encouraging the capacity for action of human rights defenders and especially economic, social and cultural rights defenders thanks to the principles of civilian peace intervention" answered a call for proposal issued by the MAAIONG (from the French Foreign Ministry). The project activities will be implemented in 8 countries: Mexico, Nepal, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, France and Belgium.
